Dr. Matthew Chan, DO, earned his B.S. in Cellular Biology, Summa cum laude with honors, from the University of Georgia. He obtained his D.O. from the Edwards Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, followed by his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at the same institution.

Dr. Chan has received numerous awards and honors including the American College of Gastroenterology Outstanding Poster Presenter Award, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine Wellness Award, and the Sigma Sigma Phi Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity.

In his free time, Dr. Chan enjoys cooking, traveling, college football, basketball, and spending time with his family.
